Kaveh Mahjoob - Vice President of Research & Development, SyncVoice Communications
Kaveh Mahjoob is currently the Vice President of Research and Development at SyncVoice Communications where he brings to his role more than 16 years of experience in analytics and communications.
Prior to joining SyncVoice Communications,, Kaveh served as vice president of R&D for the CapitalStream Software Corporation (formerly WiredCapital) where he established the SDLC process, R&D infrastructure and support organization while growing the company.
Previous to that role, Kaveh served as the vice president of products for Q Strategies and the vice president of products and support for FRx Software Corporation (now a Microsoft Division).
Kaveh also served as director of R&D at the Platinum Software Corporation (now Epicor Software), where he was instrumental in the development of their roadmap and extensive product line.
Kevin Schaff - Founder and CEO, Thought Equity Management
As CEO of Thought Equity, Kevin leads the company's corporate strategy, drives product direction and positioning, raises funds, and generates awareness for Thought Equity among industry analysts and potential partners. Kevin is a well-regarded entrepreneur who has successfully founded, financed, operated and sold companies from the beginning of his career.
Prior to founding Thought Equity, Kevin founded UPDATE Systems, Inc., an Internet e-communication company focused on delivering e-mail marketing and promotion software to aggregators of small business. In 1999, Kevin successfully negotiated the sale of UPDATE Systems to Webb Interactive Services (Nasdaq: WEBB), a leading provider of infrastructure services for local Internet commerce.
Kevin was also the President of Wind River Communications Inc., a nationally competitive design and Internet development firm formed in 1993. Under his direction, Wind River experienced growth of more than 100% each year for five consecutive years and served clients such as USWEST, Motorola, Coopers & Lybrand, and Macy's. In 1999, Kevin successfully negotiated the sale of Wind River.
Chris Scherpenseel - CEO, Cadre Technologies
Chris Scherpenseel is currently the COO of Aubice, an early stage business intelligence software company. Previously Chris was president of FRx Software Corporation, a Microsoft Company.
Chris is a CPA and has over 20 years experience in senior leadership roles in sales, marketing, accounting, finance, operations and professional services. Prior to FRx, he was Vice President of Client Services at Customer Insight Company (CIC), a database software development firm in Denver. Chris has also held senior management positions in the information processing, financial institution and network integration industries. Through his experiences, he has developed an in-depth knowledge of leading high tech businesses.
